"This photos is taken in one of the oldest church's in Ireland. The Normans put clay urns into the stonework for natural acoustics. I do maintenance on the church so i have a key and can get in early in the morning before any one else arrives, you should hear the didge in this place... unreal" Hey,
I am Koji Matsumoto,
Didgeridoo player from Japan.
I started play didgeridoo in Japan when i was 24 years old.
Then a few years ago i visited Australia to learn play didgeridoo, but one day I lost all my money, passport, air ticket...on the beach!
OMG !! Poor Japanese boy..
So, next day, when i was on the way to Japanese embassy
I met the guy who showed me the way to the beach the day before...
He asked me: "How was yesterday on the beach?"
I reply " Beach was awesome, but I lost everything important for me..."
"What are you going to do?" he asked to me
"I am looking for didgeridoo to play on the street and get some money"
Then he said " I have one didgeridoo for you! you can use it for free!"
So, I lost many important things but I got one free didgeridoo!
Thanks Australian mate!
That is the story how I started to play didgeridoo on the street...
After that happen I keep traveling with my didgeridoo.

I chose Snapper Rocks because it is an iconic surf spot here on the Gold Coast.

This photo is taken in front of Cascade Brewery in Hobart. It is the oldest continually operating brewery in Australia. I chose this spot because my wife starts work there soon as a tour guide. I'm one to mix pleasures (beer and didj) so this seemed to be a perfect spot.
During the 1967 bush fires the brewery was gutted. Amazingly, a brew survived the fire untouched and was sent to Boags Brewery (owned by Cascade at the time) in the north of the state. The brew was transported in milk tankers to be bottled and canned. Interestingly the fire occurred on the day the first rip top cans were to be introduced to Australia. It took just 3 months to rebuild the brewery. In the background we have Mt. Wellington the back drop of Hobart. Boguslaw Janiszewski, Springfield Massachusetts, USA Favian Ee, Singapore
This photo was taken at the Merlion Park in Singapore. The Merlion is a half-lion, half-fish imaginary creature created as an emblem for the Singapore Tourism Board in 1964. Before the statue was moved to its current location, it stood guard at the entrance of the Singapore River - the centre of business and trade from our country's early days in the 19th century - welcoming visitors to our country.Singapore is named after the lion ("Singa" means "lion" and "Pura" means "city") and used to be a fishing village before it was founded by Sir Stamford Raffles of the East India Company in 1819, hence the Merlion is a fitting mascot for this small but bustling port city.
Today, no national icon shouts "Singapore" louder than the Merlion. In case you're wondering, I'm carrying a didgeridoo I made myself from PVC pipe. I'd really love to own an authentic didge, hence my decision to enter this competition.
