Melbourne Didgeridoo Festival – Sunday March 3rd 2012

Didgeridoo Festival in Melbourne
If you are near Melbourne this Saturday 3rd March, you must come to the Didgeridoo Festival at Mia Mia gallery in Templestowe!

Didgeridoo Breath will be present and we’ll have a competition going on to win goodies! Sanshi will be there to meet everybody, please drop in and say G’day!!!

The festival runs from 11am-10pm and of course there’ll be plenty of live music, fun and antics!

The event is being held at the Mia Mia Galleryyou can find the gallery on Google Maps

We’re having a concert at the shop this Friday, 20th January at 7pm. Si from Wild Marmalade is in town so he’ll be joining us!

We are once again blessed here in sunny Fremantle to share a space with one other than Jeremy YONGURRA Donovan!

When: Thursday, March 10, 7:00pm – 9:00pm

Where: Didgeridoo Breath, 6 Market Street, Fremantle, Australia

Descending from Kuku-Yalanji tribe of far Northern Queensland, Jeremy Donovan is one of Australia’s most celebrated performers. His exceptional skill with the didgeridoo, and extensive knowledge of his cultural heritage has earned him the recognition of his peer’s as a master storyteller and performer.

Tickets for the performance will be available on the door or presale through the shop for $12ea.

While Victor was on his Australian tour, he wanted the opportunity to jam with didgeridoo players. So in he came and far out, we had a ball!

The shop was buzzing, the Didge Breath team were so excited and having the opportunity to jam with a world class musician, made our year!

As always, the didgeridoo concert last night at Didgeridoo Breath was amazing!

Incredible performances by Simon, Levi, Sanshi, Jane, Paul, Koji, Yas and more!

There was cranking didgeridoo playing, accoustic guitar, singing, drums and also the most incredible tap dancing!

This is a first for us… drums, guitar, didgeridoo and tap dancing! It gelled together perfectly!
